Sostena Knitwear is a small, sustainable knitwear brand based in Cornwall, UK, run by a grandmother and grandaughter duo - Izzi and her Nana!
Izzi was taught to knit by Nana and during their time together during the first UK lockdown in 2020, bonded over their love for the simple, traditional craft.
They use a mixture of 2nd-hand, scrap yarns and small batches of Nana's hand-spun, hand-dyed wool that they process from the fleece of her neighbour's tiny flock of sheep! This means that each piece is totally unique in colour, no skein is the same!!
